How we verify

Provenance, not endorsement

Every policy field we publish traces to a source you can inspect. Each listing shows its verification tier, the date we last checked, and a link to the source itself. We don't ask you to trust us — we show you where it came from.

The four tiers

Source-checked: taken from the company's own currently published policy; the listing links to the exact page and shows the date we last reviewed it. Owner-confirmed: the company itself confirmed or corrected the record in writing; we quote them verbatim in our notes. Guest-confirmed: a recent guest reported their experience; used only as a supplementary signal, never as the primary source for a policy field. Not published: we found no published policy; the listing says so plainly and tells you to confirm with the property before booking. We never fill an unpublished field with a guess.

Dated, always

Every record shows when its source was last checked. Sources are re-reviewed on a rolling basis, with automated monthly re-checks of every source page rolling out now. Policies change without notice — treat our data as your shortlist-builder and confirm with the property before you book. We say this on every page because it's true.

When a source changes

When a re-check finds a source page changed, the record is flagged and reviewed by a human before anything updates — and the last-checked date tells you exactly how fresh each record is.

Independence

Some links are affiliate links, and some companies pay us nothing at all — every company in a region is listed either way, on the same terms, with the same fields. Rankings in tools are pure arithmetic on the data.

Corrections

Spotted something outdated? Use the "Report outdated info" link on any listing. Reader reports get a source re-check, and companies can confirm or correct their own records anytime — that's what the Owner-confirmed tier is for.
